The Punchestown Festival is considered the grand finale of the jump season with top class horses, trainers and jockeys from both sides of the Irish sea converging on the Kildare venue to settle scores and confirm reputations. The quality of racing is unrivalled with a total of 12 Grade 1 contests taking place. Punchestown is proud to be the home of Irish National Hunt Racing and host the famous La Touche Cup, a spectators favourite run over the cross country course. It’s a ‘must see’ for any racing fan.

Tuesday 28 April - Boylesports Champion Chase Day

The opening day of the festival is one for real racing fans with three brilliant Grade 1 contests featuring Boylesports Champion Chase.

Thursday 30 April - Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle Day

Stamina is the name of the game on day three with runners and riders lining up for the Ladbrokes centrepiece. The original racecourse sale, the Goffs Punchestown Sale, takes place after racing in the winners enclosure.

Friday 1 May - BETDAQ Champion Hurdle Day

The penultimate day of the Festival. Considered by many to be the social highlight of the event. On the track current, past and potential champion hurdlers meet in the BETDAQ feature whilst the Bollinger Best Dressed Lady is unveiled on the main stage.
